The second of three logo options I'm working on for a software engineering and security consulting company.
Here’s a quick sketch process shot; I’ll upload a full process GIF in a bit.
The concept for this one is based on something that came out of the creative brief, which is that digital security relies on the triad of Confidentiality, Integrity, and Availability.
Here, I’m combining symbolic imagery of the Ouroboros (snake eating its own tail) which represents self-reflexivity or cyclicality, with a trefoil (or Escher) knot, which, in mathematics, is a Prime Knot, and is the purest form of a non-trivial knot — meaning it’s not possible to untie it without cutting it.
This one’s heavily rooted in symbolism, and is intended to look exacting, techy, sleek, almost robotic.
